Backstage Warriors (Tech Crew)

Class Description

Looking for a place in the theatre away from the bright lights of the stage? This class is an incredible opportunity for young people to gain experience backstage working in live theatre. Students will learn the ins and outs of how to put a show together while working alongside theatre professionals. Students in this class will tech the Youth & Kids Company productions of “Beauty and the Beast” as well as the Mini & Show Choir final performances.

Areas of Focus

Students will have an opportunity to run a light board, spotlight, video, and/or cue program, as well as learn how to set up the lights and sound systems.  They will also work backstage with sets, props costumes, & microphones while working with Premier’s resident Stage Manager.

About the Show

Belle finds herself in an enchanted castle full of fun-loving creatures ruled by an angry Beast. Will they fall in love and break the curse forever?

Tuition Cost

TUITION: $104 (+ $10 Registration Fee) – 2 Payments of $52 We strive to be Northwest Indiana’s Premier Performing Arts Company. If financial assistance is needed please do not hesitate to contact us. We offer scholarships and different payment plans.
